SMS Reporting
Voluntary Safety Reporting
Roberts FIR voluntary reports are confidential and identification of the reporter is not mandatory. Even if the reporter identification is known to allow follow-up action, it will be de-identified in any case. This confidential incident reporting mechanism facilitates the disclosure of hazards leading to human error, without fear of retribution or embarrassment.
Voluntary incident reports are archived in the Safety Reporting System (SRS) and de-identified once any necessary follow-up actions are taken. These de-identified reports support future trending analyses to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation and to identify emerging hazards.
