The Roberts FIR is equipped with systems to enable the efficient provision of it services. The installations include VSAT stations to remotely connect various services from remote sites to the control center, to provide services between the control center and Airports within the Roberts FIR and to provide ATS DS in the AFI region and AMHS/AFTN connectivity to the rest of the world using the Aeronautic Fixed Telecommunication Network infrastructure.

Our Air Traffic Management System include a Radar data processing system and Flight data processing system. ADS-B is currently in the implementation stages. Already, eight ground stations have been installed, providing coverage for the whole Roberts FIR airspace
Behind all the installations is a dependable electrical power supply mechanism. The Roberts FIR uses UPS systems that include solar panels, battery bank and chargers to produce electricity. The UPS system gurantee lower service downtime. |
